Idyllic location, sumptuous accommodation, breakfast and surroundings.

Palatial room with huge king size bed, beautiful linen, walk in wardrobe, immaculately clean en-suite with hand soap and shower cream. Situated within walking distance of Coromandel town centre. Offering so many opportunities to step back in time to the gold rush times. Lou was a hive of information and said that at the height of the gold rush era there were more than 12,000 people living in the area. So many of the properties still stand albeit used for different purposes. Now we come to breakfast!

Pretty sensational and to call it a continental breakfast is a discredit to Lou. Jam packed (pardon the pun) with home made jams, marmalade and

local honey, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit and home done peach and

apple fruits. Toast, crumpets, eggs, ham, cheese, fruit loaf. The table positively groans with goodies to tempt the palate, not that

I need any tempting. Lou you and Missy, your beautiful German Shepherd make an awesome team. We received so much Kiwi hospitality.

Lovely stay in a beauty’s home with a very helpful host.

The location was very quiet. It was a short walk to the town. The breakfast was amazing much more than we could eat. We also enjoyed meeting the other guests at breakfast and talking to the host.
